A lovely museum with beautiful exhibits. Truly delighted to see some amazing art and have my mother alongside with me this past Thursday, August 5th. We appreciated the variety of art and how someone could truly get lost for days if they are not careful!
Affordable too! One of the best art museums in the state.

Fantastic! Had an amazing time at this museum. The Degas exhibit was beautiful. Definitely get the narrative as it is recorded in an interesting and engaging way. Stories of his life are told through the interaction of Degas and his niece. Besides the Degas exhibit there was the Stampede exhibit which explored animals in art. These peices were some of the most compelling and thought provoking art exhibits I have ever seen. Really unusual. Spent hours in this museum and came out truly impressed.

This was my second time visiting History Colorado Center. I enjoyed the displays more the second time. Extremely educational and lots of fun. The grandsons ages 5 and 8 had a wonderful time. Restrooms, elevator, and a gift shop were all available. Parking is a little difficult, but we survived. Highly recommend a visit to the History Colorado Center.

There was a lot of info need to be absorbed here. I love reading history and getting to know a new town from hundred years ago to nowadays. My mind got saturated and I enjoyed every piece of this history museum, especially the miner cave part, that’s lots of fun indeed.

Truly an Awesome Museum not to be missed on a Denver Visit! Was able to learn so much – at my own speed. Loved the interactive exhibits. History is what it is…many, many Horrible experiences. However, it shows the perseverance of people. But, History needs to be exposed for what it is and WE ALL need to learn from it, so it doesn’t happen again at the expense of others.

A truly fascinating experience! If you like period drama or history this is like stepping back in time. The recorded tour is informative and the resident historians are willing to answer questions and provide interesting details. The home’s extensive restoration work has been meticulously documented with restoration stories presented along with historical facts about the home and it’s several residents. I found the whole thing very informative and entertaining. Worth the price of admission!!

This was the second visit I have made to the Molly Brown house, the first time I went they had guided tours which was very interesting and I learned a lot about her and her life. This time I brought my father expecting to have the same experience but they don’t provide guided tours anymore. They do provide a web URL to a recording but it’s not the same and we ultimately didn’t use it after the first recording. I don’t feel we got the same value and definitely didn’t learn nearly as much. Really is a pity they’ve lessened the experience, probably wouldn’t bring anyone else

A remarkable experience! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The museum itself is well organized, structured both chronologically and thematically. The placards provide context and information about the works without influencing your perception of them, which is a fine line to balance. I felt refreshed, relaxed, and energized while reflecting upon the works. The gallery took me about an hour to go through, but one could easily sit with one work alone for an hour and learn so much. I feel so lucky to have such a unique museum in Denver! I highly recommend this experience.

Clifford Still believed that an artists work should be displayed together to best understand their development and progression. I think he would be happy with the way his work is presented! The first part of the museum follows his work chronologically as he transitions between a more traditional art style to abstract expressionism. Then the second half focuses on specific themes throughout his works. It was a cool blend of the two approaches that I really liked because it really helps you to understand the artist and his work. Also, beautiful museum and large collection (they have 95% of his works).

If you like your baseball parks large this is a good one for you. It feels big and spacious. It is very nicely done and well kept. Like most newer parks it lacks a little panache and comes off a sterile from time to time. But a great ball experience and good people that were friendly and helpful.

A great venue for a family to watch a ballgame. There is a ton of space if you like to get their early for batting practice in the hopes of snagging a ball or an autograph. There are plenty of hangout options for socializing during the game is that’s your preference. Or, if you’re there simply to watch the game there don’t seem to be any bad seats in the house. Tickets are reasonably priced, the food and beverage options are great, and the setting for baseball is wonderful! You won’t be disappointed, even if you’re a Rockies fan and recognize their current roster won’t be leading to many winning seasons.

MCA has been one of my favorite destinations since first moving to Denver. I make it a point to see ever new exhibit. The attendants/docents are knowledgeable and friendly. The museum does a good job of contextualizing even the most experimental installations, making them fun, engaging, and relevant. I have seen visitors of all ages seeming to interact with and enjoy the art. Museum events, parties, teen art workshops, and the rooftop cafe and gift store make this a special museum. Highly recommend

Fun, rotating art exhibits, featuring modern but still relatable pieces. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone, particularly if you are not the type who traditionally visits art museums as you will likely be pleasantly surprised. (The only warning I will give is the cafe upstairs is very strongly oriented around alcoholic drinks so I would not not advise coming expecting to get something to eat while there, but luckily the surrounding area is fully of tasty food trucks and cafes if you want to get a meal while out.)

You need to go with the tour where you will learn few things about Colorado. The best part of tour is going up the base of dome and able to walk around veranda (balcony). View from that spot in amazing. I’ve been to other state Capitol tour and did not have access like this.

We missed the last tour of the day so just walked around on our own. It’s a beautiful building but would have been better to catch the tour and know what we were looking at. The dome was closed so we couldn’t go up and see it, but we did see the attic with some history and facts of Colorado. If you’re in the Capitol Hill area it’s worth checking out, especially if you can grab the tour. We did catch a part of the tour and were able to listen in about the House and what happens there. We stayed about 45min

I moved my family to Denver in July 2020. I am a lifelong Christian and was raised in the Episcopal denomination. I have watched many St. John services remotely and mostly like the messages the clergy delivers. It also appears to be a gorgeous cathedral. The reason for giving three stars is this church has not opened its doors to the public / God’s people, since I’ve been here. I am shocked there are still no in person services, other than communion. It is Easter Day 21 and they are doing the service virtually. Not even an attempt to safely bring people back to celebrate the Glory of Jesus in person. Do you believe in God’s love and protection, or not? Do you believe that fellowship is a key pillar of our faith, or not?

We experienced a quiet, peaceful place amid the noise and busyness of the city. The beauty and craftsmanship of the stained glass windows are breathtaking — with imagery leading to adoration and thankfulness. The lovely stonework is so delicate and not gaudy or superfluous — it graces to sanctuary inside and out. The day and hour my wife and I visited was supposedly outside of regular hours, but the helpful security guard kindly offered us entry. He made it clear that the music director was preparing details for a service, so we were instructed to remain quiet. How could we help but take a seat and soak in the lovely organ music wafting in the air. What a gift! What a joy! What a way to worship at the moment!!

Have been to this mint before years and years ago when I was 8 years old in 2005. The tour guide was friendly and gift shop staff just as much. The security guard however was extremely aloof and unfriendly when I entered in the building with my ticket in hand, which I ended up going on tour anyway because it was valid (but being aloof over a ticket? Seriously? Low IQ much?). Went on the tour for a while, probably lasted 30 minutes or an hour or two (I don’t really remember how long the tour was but it was pretty long). People touring were nice and the tour was great and the people who ran the building were mainly friendly and professional at their job.
