Moving to 1600 Glenarm has been the best decision I’ve made in a long time. I’ve been able to build a home here, right on the 16th Street mall, close to everything. The building is stunning, and the construction makes it so I never hear my neighbors – and they never hear me. The staff is always friendly and attentive to our needs, and make sure the experience of living here exceeds my hopes, from keeping the building safe to hosting little community experiences like drinks on Fridays. And relative to what my friends are paying to live near here, the price is a steal. I couldn’t be more happy to have moved to 1600 Glenarm, and would recommend it to anyone who wants a community in the middle of everything, with everything you’d want from a home.

A really great community with staff that are extremely friendly. I haven’t had any issues yet and I really love my apartment. The amenities and valet parking are great too. My only minor complaint is that I can hear the elevator in my apartment since I’m right next to it, but I have mostly gotten used to it.

The location of this apartment is ideal, and I love that we get exclusive access to Earl’s restaurant downstairs. Also, the views are gorgeous. A great value for what I get!!

I love living at 1600 Glenarm! I am walking distance from everything and everybody is so helpful and friendly. The staff here at Glenarm are phenomenal. They are super helpful and very accommodating. If you are looking for a great location in the downtown area, I would recommend 1600 Glenarm!

It’s cheap and downtown. Those are the only good things about this apartment complex. Things are constantly broken, including the almost weekly occurrence of the water shutting off or having no hot water. The rent has increased, pipes leaking everywhere in the parking garage (including leaking a mysterious rusty liquid onto my friend’s car). My dishwasher has been out of commission for nearly 3 months. I went though all the proper channels to have it fixed, and have gone to the front office 4 or 5 times and every time they have NO idea what I’m talking about. Every time they say they’ll contact me with an update and never follow through. If the only things that matter to you are price and location and pure incompetence in every other aspect doesn’t bother you, then this is the place for you. Also they are terrible at getting back to you when you try to contact them. Expect a 10% chance of them returning your call.

Update: resigned lease and still enjoy living here. Elevator is down constantly (sometimes twice a week) which is really annoying (I live on the 9th floor) and they shut off the water to the building 1-2times a month “for maintenance”. I’m updating my review to 3 stars, as both issues have been going on constantly for months. There’s a Facebook group for people that live here and seems like a good number of tenants have constant issues and I’ll leave it at that. For the price we’re at now it’s still a good value so let’s hope they don’t increase rent next year.

David Chavez was an outstanding leasing consultant that helped me find the perfect apartment. He was incredibly patient and understanding and did everything he could to help me get the apartment I wanted. I definitely was not the perfect communicator at times and had a lot of questions.

The building is a touch old, but an incredible value for the location. Take into account the price of parking when looking at living here. Street parking has always been available, but kind of annoying to find at times. Maintenance requests are solved within 24 hrs like 90% of the time and the staff has been overall really helpful and responsive.

These buildings were recently bought by Urban American Management, worse management company so far and that’s saying a lot because the prior three were also terrible.

They are re-doing the flooring in the front lobby, for no reason. The lobby was remodeled last year by the prior management team and was perfectly fine.

They do unnecessary updates while ignoring major issues that actually affect their paying residents.

They didn’t fix a stairwell door for 2 months so no one could enter through it.

My air conditioner has been broken for over 2 weeks, no one has come to even look at it and when we ask about it we are told they don’t have the parts. How do they even know?? No one has even looked at it!

They don’t return calls.

The front office staff are overwhelmed and/or clueless. There’s new staff members every week because no one will stay.

They won’t update the list of who pays for parking, so your car will get wrongly towed because they are inefficient and lazy. You will have to pay for when they wrongly tow your car too!

The only redeeming qualities is that the location is decent and the view can be nice if you’re on a top floor.
Apartments are eh.

Management, terrible service and out of touch. Would not recommend.

I’ve lived in a lot of apartments in several cities and this place wipes the floor with all of them. You can get a fancy apartment for a similar price anywhere, but the place AMLI Park Avenue shines is the management. Management is everything and they nail it here. Maintenance is super responsive, even after hours. The grounds are clean and lovely. Location is top notch. All of it. You’d be lucky to get a place here!

Although I have not moved into AMLI yet, everyone at AMLI has been incredibly understanding and helpful throughout the application process. Hillary and Jessica, specifically, have done everything they can in order to cater to my unique circumstances. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who is interested and I am confident that AMLI will not let you down!

I have lived here for 6 months now and absolutely love it! When I moved in, my apartment was extremely clean and the staff was very helpful. I have not had any issues with noise, the various courtyards are well kept and fun to hang out in, and the location can’t be beat (10 minute walk to downtown).

The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because of the pool and gym. August is almost over and they still have not opened the pool (which we are all paying for) and the gym has had leaks (other than the leaks, it is a nice gym!).

Overall, I highly recommend checking this place out!

I moved into uptown apartments a year ago and at first I was very happy. The location is great as you are walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, parks, etc. Since I moved in at the end of summer, I got to enjoy the pool. However, after the first few months of living here everything has gone downhill. The leasing office is unresponsive to say the least. I cannot even count the amount of times I have called and left messages without a response. It’s important to note that they aren’t answering because they’re super busy. A few months ago my AC went out and my apartment was 87 degrees. After calling over ten times, I walked down to the office. There were FIVE agents sitting in the office simply talking. When I expressed that I tried to call they ignored me. On top of this they have failed to open the pool, a amenity that drew me to this apartment. The week before Memorial Day they said they were waiting on an inspector and three months later nothing has changed. This is extremely disappointing and uptown decided to “make up” for this by giving away 25 tickets to a water park (not even to all residents). Along with all this, cleanliness is an issue. Residents are letting their dogs go to the bathroom in the parking deck so as you walk/drive you have to maneuver large piles of dog poop. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone.

The Uptown Apartment complex is extraordinary, they offer a many different locations and styles to choose from that all share the same amenities. Coming from a NY/LA or somewhere similar, this place is a steal and centrally located in Denver to all the right neighborhood and spots. The staff is very friendly and attentive and I really enjoy the community at large.

My only reason for not giving five stars is the automation process around leasing and communicating (not in person) with the office. It’s fairly easy for a tech savvy person, but a bit complicated for everyone else. It can also be hard to reach a human on the phone, and the email response time is painfully slow around simple questions and answers.

However, to whatever degree that’s important to you, it’s just as easy to visit the office. I still highly recommend this community, I love living here and hope this review helps.

I moved from New York to Denver about a year ago. I wish I found this place when I first got here. Friendly staff, beautiful amenities, maintenance team is great. This has hands down been one of the best living I’ve experienced. The dog treats at the main entrance is the cherry on top. 10/10 would recommend!

This apartment building is hands down one of the best places to live in the city of Denver. The building I was in previously had flooded leaving me with very short notice to find a new complex. Within a day, I was able to talk to Drew on the phone, schedule a tour and sign a lease. I’m extremely pleased with the responsiveness and generosity of the staff; makes living here that much easier. The apartments complex itself has tons of amenities; the gym in particular has everything you’d need. The complex is also located in one of the most popular spots in the Denver area, being just walking distance to awesome bars and restaurants. The apartments themselves are extremely spacious with gorgeous views out looking onto the city. I can easily say this is the nicest place I’ve lived in Denver and appreciate the help from all the staff.

I have worked with Jorgen Christiansen on multiple transactions over the years. During the last six months, he has helped me secure a tenant for a short term lease and sell two properties in lower downtown Denver. If you want to have a landlord that is not trying to cheat you of your money at every turn and respects you as a tenant please reconsider before renting from Brownstone. I have filed a complaint against Brownstone Realty to the Better Business Bureau listing the below complaints as well. Before renting through Brownstone please read the following:

1) We lived in an apartment that had an unlocked first door to the entryway/mail room. Within the first month we lived there packages were being stolen from the porch and the mail room. We asked Brownstone if they could install a lock on this first door to protect the packages. They said they would look into it, but they did nothing even after multiple follow ups. We eventually had a man who was sleeping in the entry way and blocking the exit – my roommate was entering our apartment through our bedroom window to avoid this. We asked them again to install a lock on the door so we could come and go without having to step over a sleeping person in the entryway. They said they would, but two months passed, and they didn’t do anything. They were showing apartments during this time and took down the sign we had to warn other tenants to hide this from people they were showing apartments to.
2)After having multiple issues with Brownstone, we didn’t trust them to be fair we the return of our Security deposit, so we scrubbed the entire apartment to the point where it was significantly cleaner than when we moved in and documented everything. They still withheld almost half of the deposit. According to Denver law you can only withhold a security deposit for “non-normal wear and tear” or “excessive cleaning expenses”. Here are examples for which they kept our deposit:
– Holes in bedroom walls
– Scratches and dings on the walls
– The seal of the fridge dirty
– Kitchen sink needs to be polished
– Hood, stove, and backsplash need EXTRA cleaning
– Toilet base needs EXTRA cleaning
I have spoken to multiple landlords about this since and they all agreed that only a crook would consider the list they gave us excessive damage.
3) Before we moved in, we asked about the utility bill would be. We were told the utility bill would at the highest be the highest $80 in the winter. On average we were paying $120 -150 for our utility bill throughout the year. We were super conscious of energy usage, but the energy bill was split among the building and other units. This stuff is tricky with old buildings, but they were super dishonest about this before we signed our lease. I emailed Brownstone about this, and they said they would recalculate how our utilities were charged. This was a blatant lie because there was no change forward.
4) It was raining late one night, and I parked in a parking spot that wasn’t being used for the year and a half I lived in the building. Brownstone’s property manager called to have my car towed early the next morning after my car had been there for less than 12 hours. I called Patty in the Brownstone office about this, and she lied to me saying the property manager didn’t call even though the towing company described the person who did. This is in violation of Brownstone’s lease they have you sign that protects tenants from having their car towed without 72 hours’ notice. When I confronted Brownstone about this they stopped responding to my emails. They have no accountability.
5) My roommate works nights, and I can’t even tell you the number of times the office would call my roommate during the day after we asked them not to and call me instead. They also would try to tell us about showings for the apartment with less than 24 hours notice. Just overall super inconsiderate to their tenants.

Brownstone has been a great property management company to work with. David is a gem and is always so friendly and responsive. Maintenance and management are also nice, prompt and reasonable. I would recommend them! Extenuating circumstances are taking me back east, but I would happily renew my lease otherwise.

The thing that Regus does best is charge your credit card for your next month’s rent 8-10 days before the end of the current month. They even charged the mandatory “restoration” fee (to restore my office back to its supposedly pristine condition) A WEEK BEFORE I moved out rather than deducting the fee from the security deposit of two months’ rent that they had held onto for two years. Due to the coronavirus, Regus unilaterally cut support staff to just about zero by the end of March, which means my customers were no longer greeted when they came to the office. This eliminated the main reason I moved into the Regus facility to begin with — which was to present a high level of professionalism. Despite the reduced service, Regus still wanted to hike my rent almost 10 percent when my lease expired at the end of June. A month after I moved out, I discovered that the USPS doesn’t forward mail from virtual/shared office spaces. They new receptionist didn’t bother to call me to let me know this. She simply returned the mail to sender, creating all kinds of extra work for me to track down payments from customers. My advice is to stay far away from Regus and its over-priced offices with paper-thin walls. You can do much better. The only reason I gave 2 stars if that previous staff members — Nicole, Anna, Molly and Nabil — were excellent.
