Consistency, authenticity, quality, relaxed atmosphere – you’ll be hard pressed to find a better Italian restaurant anywhere in Colorado. For something a bit more unique, try visiting here for Sunday brunch. Eat to live…

It’s a year later. Food quality is still very good. Service quality – who’s in charge here? Iced tea not refilled, dirty glasses on the table, server doesn’t repeat back order and gets it wrong, secondary services (water, clearing, etc.) would rather socialize with one another than do their jobs. Very disappointing.

It’s a year later. And I can’t get seated at the time of my reservation. Google maps says the restaurant closes at 9pm. I had an 8:30 and I’m waiting in the lobby of the adjacent hotel. Covid-19 has changed things, and apparently not for the better, sad to say.

Amazing food, soothing atmosphere and great service! We chose this place because there were options for everyone and the location was great as well. They had gluten free options, vegan options and kiddo options. They have a large drink selection at decent prices, a good dessert menu (minus gluten free) and a really nice selection of Italian classic dishes. Marcos meal is a two adult deal and we were completely happy with that! Definitely a recommend 🙂

We love Maggianos! We drove from Ft. Collins yesterday and had the best meals and amazing service. Our server was John David and we so appreciated his excellent service and talking with him. We had the best meals( delicious Italian) and such an amazing experience as all the other times in our past. We took 3 take away meals home with us and John David packed them up nicely and put some ice to keep them cold until we reached home. Best fine dining experience and excellent service! Love this place and we will be back ! 💕

We visited Maggiano’s Little Italy from Kansas. The restaurant was conveniently located close to our hotel in downtown Denver. Our waitress Joy was very polite, nice and welcoming with a warm smile. The bread was delicious hot right out of the oven. The food was amazing and very tasty, and it came really quick. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and it would be my favorite one when I go back to Kansas.

“Rock Bottom” is an appropriate restaurant name for the quality of service you can expect here. My wife ordered from here using Door Dash and had it delivered to our hotel. In there order was a chicken tenders kids meal with fruit for a side for my daughter and the Twisted Tenders with fries for me. The kids meal was about $5.50 while the adult meal was $15.50. When we got them, I found that both the product and the portions were exactly the same. We both got three deep fried chicken tenders, except the kids meal came with it’s side but the adult meal did not. Somehow, I paid $10 more for my meal and it was exactly the same and missing the side. I called the restaurant and was called back by Katie, the Assistant General Manger. She told me that because we ordered through Door Dash, she wouldn’t be making this right in any way. So basically, Rock Bottom was paid for the food, prepared the dishes incorrectly, overcharged me for what was basically two kids meals, and then refused to take any responsibility. Door Dash delivers the food, Rock Bottom is responsible for making sure the order is right. How convenient it must be to be able to absolve yourselves of responsibility for your mistake just because a third party delivery company was involved. I would have been happy to give this restaurant another chance, but after my conversation with Katie, I think we’ll just be skipping Rock Bottom from now on.

I’ve been going there for 20 years. Whenever I’m in town before I even drop my luggage. I am there enjoying a cold beer and some great food. This time has especially great fun. My server Deckland was fantastic. Even though he’s from Boston and you know what that means. I really enjoyed spending time there with him. A very cool young man and a hard worker. The next time your in there say hello to him and tell him James sent ya.

Rock Bottom Ain’t No Lie! The beer was good but pricey, our server was good, our food was an entirely different story. We have had fish tacos in plenty of other restaurants and I’ve never had fish tacos where the fish was hidden in tiny little pieces underneath everything else. My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak which was 90% bread 5% cheese and 5% beef and that’s being generous. And in both cases, the serving sizes were small. By far the worst fish tacos and Philly cheese steak sandwich we’ve ever had.

Cool place, great beer BUT lacks in seating area and they only have 1 person serving. Which is usually not an issue but if you walk in at a busy time good luck standing and waiting for your order. They do have outdoor seating but everything is 1st come 1st serve. The staff is friendly and they have food trucks for food options. Now the beer is outstanding so if y’all don’t mind a little wait for some delicious beer don’t be discouraged!! Definitely recommend!!

First time visitor and was not disappointed. Lunch/dinner menu was full of great ideas. Buffalo Cauliflower was very good and the Avocado salad was delicious. Everything that passed by the table was nicely presented and the restaurant was full of smiling people. Vegetarian/Vegan, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great place for lunch. This is a great place to end the day with great food and very good service! The parking and getting downtown is a little difficult, but the food makes it very much worth while! You will enjoy the surroundings and the great food! Just one thing, we had a party of three. There is built into the check a service fee, which is the gratuity. However, when you finally pay, the receipt has the service fee and a spot for “gratuity”. They have you pay the service fee and ask separately for gratuity. When asked, if they are the same, the answer was yes. I didn’t think it was right to ask for gratuity twice. That is the only thing that bothered me though!!

First off, I want to say this place is great. Amazing views, great atmosphere, and good drinks. Easy to get to from most hotels in downtown Denver. Why 4 stars? The food menu… I understand the food isn’t the primary function of this place, but the menu is limited, and unappealing to anyone who doesn’t care for Asian flavors. But definitely visit, especially if the menu appeals to your palate.

It’s a decent sports bar. Strong drinks and the cheese curds are great chill at the bar and watch the Derby type of food. That said, as I went for the Derby, their mint juleps needed to be boxed and that is hard until you make it through an improperly mixed one to get the spare glass. Would have been nice if the bar staff did that for us

Very old and historically famous place, filled with old memorabilia and with more taxidermy hanging from the walls than I’ve ever seen in one place. The menu is pretty much exclusively various kinds of game: buffalo, elk, lamb, various game birds, and even rocky mountain oysters (definitely worth getting). There were several (included) excellent side dish choices to accompany the meat. Nightly specials supplement the regular menu.. The restaurant also has an excellent wine list with great reds from wineries like Joseph Phelps and Silver Oak. Free parking adjacent to building. It’s hard not to eat too much! Highly recommended.

Service was phenomenal, the atmosphere was a great experience, food was over hyped. I love wild game but thought I was going to be in for some fine dining and unique food but felt like I basically got grandma’s Saturday dinner. I still believe it deserves 4 stars because of the amount of taxidermy all on the walls (if you are into that) and our waitress was very humorous so only one star was knocked for the food quality. Almost forgot, rocky mountain oysters were good but fell below my expectations as to what i thought it was going to be, it’s a good one time experience to say i had them, that’s it… If i were to do it again I’d save the 120$ I spent on 2 plates of dinner with my fiance and just gotten the rocky mountain oysters and gone elsewhere to eat our main course.

We had rocky mountain oysters as appetizer a combo of elk and quail and a plate of lamb and 2 cups of soda.

Earlier this evening, a dear friend and I celebrated a benchmark birthday, and the entire dining experience was exceptional. The interior ambience was entertaining in itself, but the food? Perfectly prepared, perfectly timed, and absolutely delicious: bison prime rib, presidential soup, crisp Caesar salad, and homemade apple pie… Oh my! WAY beyond my expectations! Pricey, yes, but worth it!

The “special sauce” for the entire evening was the extraordinary service offered by our waiter, Jake. Be sure to ask for him by name; you won’t regret it.

Thank you, Buckhorn Exchange!

My friend and I split a meal of the “thicker” curry with a side of naan. It was the perfect portion for the two of us. (Granted, we are both smaller people. If you are two big guys or going on a date, you might want a little more food, but don’t be afraid to split something or set up the meal community style.)
Overall it was a cheap, delicious meal right off the mall. My only complaint is that it took us a while to get the check/card. Downtown waitstaff are pretty used to people on the go so we were pleasant but persistent in getting noticed and out of there, so it wasn’t too big a deal.

Were planning on going to Steuben’s on Sat night but the menu here and ambience looked more fun. It’s a large place, so got seating indoors easily. Were planning to play ping pong after dinner, but all tables got taken by then, so better book in advance at the door. We got beers, shrimp scallop noodles and all 3 types of baos, all of which was very flavorful. Prices were a bit high, considering the quantity, but service and quality was good. Parked on the adjoining street, but the spot was hard to find.

My husband and I decided to celebrate our anniversary here and of course we were expecting great food. But we weren’t expecting to be made to feel SO SPECIAL by the Capital Grille staff! As soon as we checked in for our reservation the hostess wished us a happy anniversary. They also had our table ready and adorned for us with confetti hearts and a hand written anniversary card to congratulate us. I nearly cried. The manager even stopped by our table to make sure we were well accommodated and to thank us for spending our anniversary with them. Our waiter, Bill, was perfectly attentive and friendly. He made us feel very well taken care of throughout our entire dinner. Our steaks and lobster was cooked exactly how we ordered with the perfect flavor. My husband named his the best steak he’s ever had! The end of our night was topped off with complimentary mini cheesecakes (which happens to be my husbands favorite desert) to commemorate a great anniversary. We definitely hope to return for another anniversary in the future or even just for another perfect steak!

He even made black tea happen when they only had coffee. That right there is true customer service as I have worked in customer service for over 11 years. The location was beautiful and peaceful. Classic high end steak house. Service was outstanding and the staff was so nice. Food was decent but honestly not worth the price.

My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner. We left somewhat satisfied.

We shared french onion soup, lobster Mac, and asparagus. French Onion soup and Lobster Mac was outstanding! Asparagus was ok. I ordered the NY Strip with Shallot butter and she ordered the Balsamic aged rib eye… I think the key here is to just order a regular steak and not one of the chef suggested ones.

The balsamic flavor on the steak was delicious but it completely overpowered the natural beef flavor of the meat. I’m pretty sure you could take this same balsamic glaze and put it on a cheap cut and it would taste pretty much the same. Well I also found the shallot butter to be pretty good It was a little underwhelming. It was kind of on the other end of the spectrum and didn’t have a ton of flavor though the steak underneath was flavorful it was kind of washed out by the butter.

Overall we might go back and try again but we would order regular steaks without anything added to them. But for the price I’m not so sure, there’s plenty of other fine dining steak houses in Denver and we would probably give those a try first.

Took a while to try this place because the brewery’s flagship ale sucks (frankly). However the other beers on tap were FANTASTIC — every one of them! Staff was fairly knowledgeable and relaxed, if cool. Nice quiet and large patio given the location. They have some bar-style food, but I get enough yeast and grain from the beer…
$2-3 snifters are a steal.

Nice place with friendly staff in a great location. The rye IPA tasted good but somewhat bland. BUT, that doesn’t make it bad: if i had to pick a quintessential IPA, this one would be the poster candidate, making it a very good IPA indeed. I’ll definitely go again to try a few more brews.

They bring you the bun, pork, cabbage separately and kind of assemble it yourself. 2 came in an order), and the Kaya Toast(sweet, but not very sweet. Kind creamy, second favorite). I also got the Citrus Blossom cocktail which was good, but I thought too sweet. Great service.

Food was delicious, very nice atmosphere. Although our food did take long to arrive it was worth it. Also waiters were so kind and friendly. Also there is this one waiter who is very attractive 🙂

Not bad tavern for food and drinks. The atmosphere is great and provides a lot of airflow.

Their gyro meat is apparently made here, and they were quite flavorful. The wings were crispy, not too greasy, and filling (~9 pieces). Good drink selection. We were there for a broncos game so the poor staff was pretty overwhelmed, but they held up well. I think the menu used to have more unique and delicious options… But times are tough, so I get it!

Plenty of TV’s to satisfy all fans. Street parking.

Burger and fries with a pear cider; wings and a beer; watched a bit of the Purdue game. Open garage doors on a beautiful day; good service; yummy food. Thank you for a relaxing, Saturday afternoon!

In the park there is a local tavern that locals speak of, hidden in the shadow of the false whole foods, basking in the pale light of the 7-11. Upon arrival, if you speak the magic password, you will be greeted with happy hour options and onion rings that slap. I do protest that this establishment, has seen many atimes, often on the patio, looking over the kingdom of Capital Hill. Would park again this tavern 10/10
